Behind the Scenes: How We Script and Shoot a Company Profile Film
A company profile film is won or lost on paper, long before a camera rolls. This is how we at Vega Creative Studio, Rajkot, shape a six-minute story, using our film for Savani Heritage Conservation as the example.
Company profile film: it starts with one sentence
Before writing a single scene, we ask the client one question: what should the viewer feel in the last ten seconds? For Savani, a heritage conservation firm with over 31 years and three generations behind it, the answer was clear. Restoring a monument is not a job. It is worship.
That one idea became the spine of the script. Every chapter had to earn its place by serving it.

The six-minute map
We plan a film like a floor plan, with a timecode on every room. Savani's script runs about six minutes across eight chapters:
Time | Chapter | Job of the chapter |
0:00 – 0:40 | Opening | Make the viewer feel what is lost when a monument is lost |
0:40 – 1:20 | Our purpose | State the promise: protect India's architectural legacy |
1:20 – 2:10 | Our strength | Introduce the family of 2,000+ professionals |
2:10 – 3:00 | What we do | Cover the full range of conservation work without a boring list |
3:00 – 3:40 | Where we work | Show scale, from forts to stepwells, across six cities |
3:40 – 4:40 | Quality, trust and recognition | Prove it with ISO certification and UNESCO Asia-Pacific awards |
4:40 – 5:45 | Innovation and growth | Show the future: a research institute, heritage walks |
5:45 – 6:15 | Closing | Land the feeling and the tagline |
What happens behind the scenes
We read everything the client has. Brochures, award lists, old photographs, even the way the founders speak. A script should sound like the company, not like us.
We write the script before we plan any shot. Words first, then pictures. The script for Savani opens with one line: every civilization leaves behind a story.
We write for the ear. Short lines. Space to breathe. Pauses where the visuals can speak. Savani's script is built from short sentences and single-word lines, so the narration never rushes.
We bring in the client's own language. The film closes with two Sanskrit lines the company lives by. Using their words, not ours, made the film feel like theirs.
We plan the visuals to match each chapter. Wide shots for scale, close-ups of stone and craftsmanship for care, people at work for trust.
Lessons we carry into every film
Start with the feeling, not the facts. Numbers land only after the viewer cares.
Give every chapter one job. If a chapter has two, split it or cut one.
Let silence work. The best lines in a script are often the shortest.
Prove it once, clearly. One strong award or certification beats a list of twenty.
